Hey guys, so I am applying to SVA and im currently building my portfolio. I want to make 6-8 pieces that focus on one character. This would include character development, design, and putting him in an environment. So far I have come up with a character and some basics for him. I am still in a brain storming process and continue to expand on the details of the story. This creatures name is Kahb(In hindi this translates to "when"). Age: 1,325 years old. Species: Katharnath. Kahb ends up in an alien world, with no recollection of who he is or where his true family is. He finds himself awake at shore and soon after is captured by a native species(thick,massive, rude, ugly, monster-like creature. I still have not decided a name for them) and enslaved to be a servant. From here he makes new connections and attempts to escape and find his origins and freedom.The antenna on his head is used to aid Kahb's senses. This antenna comes at hand at night time when one can't see. It behaves like a heat detector. Kahb comes from a species called Katharnath (which means dangerous in the Indian language Hindi). Even though these creatures seem small, cute (in a weird way), and helpless, they happen to very detrimental to the universe, for they have very advanced technology. The Katharnaths' home planet was getting over populated and running low in resource, so they had to do something to ensure their race would continue to live on. So the Katharnaths launched a project which would sling out 500,000 capsules to various planets that life already existed on. However, Kahb (the main character) is unaware of his origins. Here he wakes up in at shore, and completely confused.
