Sketches
More sketches from the MET! Iv been trying to go every saturday! Hopefully I can keep it up. Recently iv been paying close attention to my hatching. Iv noticed that if you mark down clear cut lines for hatching, it give the drawing more harmony. So iv been trying to avoid my quick, sloppy hatching habbits. Cheers

New moleskine
So I got a moleskine sketchbook a couple weeks ago! yeay now im with the cool clique! This is my first drawing in the sketchbook, it was done awhile back. I drew this with an eye of a Hindu (and yes I happen to be one). If you didn't already know, in Hinduism, the cow is considered the most sacred animal. If you go to India, you won't find a single tissue of cow sold in the public markets or restaurants(just so you have an idea of how much they are worshiped). I wanted to indirectly show cruelty in this sketch. Personally, I am not offended if people eat cow. I see it the same as eating any meat. Anyways I could go on endlessly talking about this subject but thats not my purpose of this blog. This work is not in any way aimed to promote animal rights, its merely showing a vision through a Hindu's eye.
