Two photo studies done in photoshop. In the first painting I had trouble with the drapery. I need more practice. In the second one I really struggle with the legs, and as you can see I still am. I need to do more arm and leg studies!
A thing that is underrated in art, is an art piece's background! I really love your backgrounds, they have a landscape of their own I feel, espceicially w/ the 1st one. Her dress could be a bit more flowing...maybe the fabric is too sharp on the edges, but I really like the concept and the idea of motion in it. Also she is a pretty cool character! I can see you doing character design in your future!
I really like the 2nd one though, it shows you putting those anatomy sketches to use! A really smart use of shadows.
